Some guides take you fishing.
We take you into a moment.

Every trip with Last Cast Sportfishing LLC is led by a captain who knows these waters the way most people know the back roads of their hometown, because the water basically is his hometown. He leads by instinct, experience, and thousands of hours spent reading the currents, the sky, and the shifting moods of Michigan’s lakes and rivers.

He’s patient with beginners, steady under pressure, and committed to creating the kind of day that feels effortless and unforgettable. The kind of guide who remembers that fishing is as much about people as it is about the catch.

last cast guys were very helpful with showing how to fish for walleye and gave us a 1st class experience.

what to expect

  • You and your group will meet your captain at the dock. We’ll get you comfortable with the gear, set expectations, get to know your experience level, and ease you into the rhythm of being out here accordingly. No pressure, just a smooth start and some safety and housekeeping items before we push off.

  • Once we’re moving, your captain reads the water, adapts to conditions, and puts you where opportunity is building. You’ll learn naturally, fish comfortably, and take in the kind of quiet excitement that only exists in the middle of the lake. When a rod bends, everything snaps into motion, with an unbeatable adrenaline rush.

  • Every trip has the moment, a first fish, a sudden strike, a last-cast surprise. Your captain is right there to guide the excitement and keep things smooth. We promise it will become a story you’ll hold onto long after the day is done.
